This is the unique reverse die trial for the 1893 Isabella quarter struck on cardboard.

Written on the back is a notation probably by Mint Director Edward O Leech which states that this is the first impression from the dies and was received from Mint Superintendent O.C. Bosbyshell.

There is also a unique companion die trial of the obverse JA1893-1/P3497.

To my knowledge, this is the first time this piece has been illustrated and made available to the collecting fraternity at large.
