This is a hub trial, in copper, of Longacre's obverse used on J561-J564/P622-P625 and J565/P626. On this example the C and A in America are closely spaced. It is unique and is ex Werner 1/55, Auction 89, Dr A. Roter, S. Downey, M. Byers. A second example struck from a different die with the C and A in America irregularly spaced JA1867-8/P3308.
