George T. Morgan's famous Liberty Head design previously believed to have been modeled after Anna Williams. Although listed second in Pollock, this is actually the first die. Only 2 examples are known as follows: 1) Farouk-Sothebys 2/54, Kreisberg 6/56 ?, Bass-HWBRF, B/M 5/99 as PCGS61RED cleaned, lacquered - Pollock plate, rehabilitated to Superior 4/00 FPL, Stacks 7/08, Simpson-Heritage 1/22 FUN – PCGS64BN (alignment 180 degrees) - illustrated above, click on the thumbnail image to see an enlargement. 2) Merkin 9/67 ?, Tangible Assets (in 2/93 Coin World), Teletrade 3/3/93, Marin, Saul Teichman in trade - PCGS65RED (alignment 170 or 190 degrees) as illustrated below courtesy of Saul Teichman J1505 was only struck from this obverse die. This design was also struck in silver J1504/P1666 with only 2 known from this obverse die. There are also 4 known in silver J1504/P1658 from the other obverse die.
